Abstract

Jasmonic acid (JA) and salicylic acid (SA) works as a massage transfer against biotic and abiotic stress like salinity.  For study the effect of JA and SA on growth, physiological and photosynthesis changes of tomato under salinity stress a factorial experiment based on CRD was arranged in Isfahan university technology greenhouses. Treatments were S0=control, S1=100 mM, S2=150mM and S3=200mM and JA1=control, JA2=1mM and JA3=2mM and SA1=control, SA2=10mM with 3 replicates. Results was shown that SA decreased fresh and dry weight of shoot in S0 and S1 but its increased with JA although it was decreased in S2. The antioxidant and prolin activity increased in low level of salinity but there were not effective in high level of salinity. Generally, it seems that usage of JA and SA in low level of salinity with changes in photosynthesis and chlorophyll can alleviate growth and deleterious effect of salinity and JA was more effective in lower concentration than high.
